Moved by Alderman Williams that the minutes of the regular meeting of June 23rd, be approved as read. R Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. i Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize Mayor W. E. Fitzgerald to sign for and on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls, acceptance of proposal made by the Panhandle Refining Co., in their letter dated Tune 25thq setting back or constructing Panhanale Refining a Co., property line fence along right-of-way s to Sheppard r'ield. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen approve as extras the adjusted sum of ;246.77 to M. B. Ihitehill Construction Co. , contract for remodeling new police station building in constructing 21 lockers. Further, approve the payment of $150,00 per month to Wichita County for I the keeping and feeding of prisoners. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. i I Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen accept as d the lowest and best bid the bid of fox--andel Motor C'o. , on one Chevrolet truck at $1247,50, and the bid of Morgan Motor Co., for one truck at ;1197.00. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen grant chauffeur's license to the following: Clinton L. Knight, Charlie A. Green 5. Y. Hill ` J. T. Bell Motion seconded oy Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. 604 i Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board tf Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls hereby accept and approve the contract with the Wichita Falls Independent School District No. 1, and contract with the Hardin Junior College, for the collection of taxes of said units on the same terms and conditions contained in a contract between the City of Wichita Falls and the Wichita r'alls independent School District which expired June 30, 1941. Same to be for a period of two yeaBs. I Motion seconded by Alderman 5tampfli and carried with the following vote: Y-as: Aldermen Fitzpatrick, Hyer, Stampfli , and Williams. 3 i Nays; None. # Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board of Aldermen hereby authorize and order the City Treasurer to transfer the sum of ;141000 from the Operations and Maintenance Funds of the Water Dept. to the Fire and Police Station Building Fund account.
