The Board of Aldermen met in regular session in the Council Room
of the Memorial Auditorium on the above date at 8:00 o'clock P. Y. with
the following members present:

The minutes of the regular meeting of April 14th, were read.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the minutes of April 14th, be approved
as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick, and carried.

Bids on steel for construction of ipater System Improvement Plant
were opened by the Board of Aldermen:
Capital Steel & Iron Co. , Cars $26,998.00
Ceco Steel. Products Corn. Job 28,214.00
3 Ft. Worth Structural Steel Job 28,602.00

North Texas Iron & Steel Cars 27,939.00
Panhandle Steel Products Co Job 27,938.00
These bids were referred to the Engineer in charge for analysis
and inspection.
I Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board nf Aldermen accent and
approve the report of the Comrittee on the preservation of the Old Fire Bell.

The Comr»ittee was discharged.
