The Board of Aldermen met in regular session in the Council Room
of the Memorial Auditorium on the above date at 8:00 o'clock P. M, with
the following members present:

The minutes of the regular meeting, of April 7th, were read.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the minutes of April 7th, be aT)proved
as read.
Motior seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
Bids on valves for the Water Improvement Construction were opened by
the Board of Aldermen, and tabulated by the Engineer in charge, and reuorted
as follows:

Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the bid of Rensselear Valve Co.,
of $4029.50 be accepted as the lowest and. best bid on valves for the Water
Improvement Construction account.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
The opinion of Thelbert Martin, Assistant City Attorney addressed to
T. A. Hicks, City Attorney, in the matter of C. -D. ShamburRer's request for
the closing of Morrow Street between its intersection with Harrison and
Van Buren Street was read. Action in this matter was deferred.

AN ORDINANCE DEFINING AUTOMOBILE TRAILERS AND TRAILER CAMPS; REGIJLA-ING
AND LICENSING THEIR USE IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
Ordinance No. 1319 was discussed and final action deferred.

Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen grant the
request of the American Legion for the showing of Haynes Carnival
Shows the week of May 19th to 24th, inclusive, waiving license, etc.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize
the payment to the Wichita General Hospital in the sum of $376,85
for the month of March, uron payment of like sum by Vchita County.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried.

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize
adjustment of personal and property delinquent taxes, and settlement of i
same as outlined in the following schedule.
