The Board of Aldermen met in regular session on the above date
at 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Room of the memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The minutes of the regular meeting of March 24th, were read.
Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the minutes of March 24th, be
approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.

j AN ORDINANCE DEFINING AUTOMOBILE 'TRAILERS AND TRAILER CA11PS; REGU-
LATING AND LICENSING THEIR USE IN T CITY OF WICFTITA FALLS: PROVIDING A PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
Moved by Alderman Stamplfli that Ordinance No. 1319 be passed on
its First Reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried with the following vote:
Yeas: Alderman Fitzpatrick, Hyer, Naylor, Stamnfli., Williams and
Wolf.
Nays: None.

Moved by Alderman Wblf that the Board of Aldermen allow application
of the Disabled American VTar Veterans for the showing of Dudley's Carnival
Shows April_ 21st to April 30th. inclusive, waiving license, etc.

Public hearing Dias held on petition filed by Mathis and Caldwell,
Attorneys for C. D. Shamburger. Sr and C. D. Shamburger, Jr. for the re-opening
of Morrow Street from the intersection with Harrison Street to its intersection
with Van Buren. Action in this matter was deferred.

authorize and order adjustment of personal and -ronerty taxes and
settlement of same as set out in the following schedule.

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen accept
as the lowest and best bid the bid of the Morgan Motor Co., for one Plymouth
C-une at $779.00 less a trade in value of $384.00 of one Ford Coupe, being a
net price of $395.00, and accept and anprove the bid of J. 0. Dotson, Inc.
as the lowest and best bid for one - Two Door Ford Sedan at a net price of
$720.00.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stamnfli and carried.

Moved by Alderman Stamnfli that the Board of Aldermen hereby
authorize and anpro nriate gut of funds heretofore appropriated in the
Library Building Pland , Account 68-a, the sum of $775,00, conditioned upon
the receipt of $550.00 in public subscriptions tc, said fund.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stamnfl_i that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
