The Board of Aldermen met in regular session on the above date
at 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium
with the following members present:

The minutes of the regular meeting of March loth, were read.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the minutes of March loth, be
approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.

j AN ORDINANCE AlUNDING SECTION TVU (2) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1296, PASSED
AND APPROVED ON THE 22ND DAY OF JANUARY, A. D. 1940, ENTITLED "AN 0RDINANCE
CREATING AND DEFINING PARKING METER ZONES IN THE CITY OF VECHITA FALLS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF MECHANICAL DEVICES
TO REGULATE PARKING IN SAID PARKING YETER ZONES; PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION
OF REGULATORY AND INSPECTION FEES FOR THE USE OF SUCH DEVICES; PROVIDING FDR
THE DEPOSIT OF SUCH FEES BY THE CITY TREASURER IN A SPECIAL FUND PROVIDING FOR
THE METHOD AND PURPOSES OF ,DISBURSEMENT OF SAID FUND; MAKING IT UNIANFUL TO USE
THE STREETS OR PORTIONS OF = STREETS SO DESIGNATED FOR PARKING EXCEPT THROUGH
I USE OF PARKING METERS; DEFINING WJA.T ACT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL, AND FIXING PENAL-
TIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF TiIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALINJ ALL
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CO17LICT HEREVaTH.
Moved by Alderman Hyer that Ordinance No. 1318 be passed on its
first reading.

Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen
authorize payment of $1136.69 to the Wichita General Hospital,
charity accounts, for the month of February upon the payment of
like amount by Wichita County.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.

the list of Securities submitted by the City National Bank in Wichita
Falls, City Depository, as additional collateral or security for the
cash funds of the City of Wichita Falls.
