Min 03/10/1941 I 531 5 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium, March 10, 1941 The Board of Aldermen met in regular session on the above date at 8:00 o'clock P. I. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium with the following members present: i W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor vi. Ralph Hyer, H. J. Naylor, V. E. Stampfli, ( (Aldermen Jas. M. Williams, l Frank Wolf, J. Bryan Miller, City Manager J. H. Crouch, City Clerk T. A. Hicks, City Attorney f The minutes cf the regular meeting of March 3rd, were read. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the minutes of March 3rd, be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. - - - - - - - - - - } i R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED BY UIE BOARD OF ALDERPEIN of the City of Wichita i Falls, that the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, named as Trustee in a certain Trust Indenture between the City of Wichita Falls and the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, made for the purpose of securing the payment of certain revenue bonds in the amount of $400,000,00, known as "City of i Wichita Falls, Texas, Waterworks System Improvement Revenue Bonds," in consider- ation of its acceptance of said trust, be allowed, and the City of Wichita Falls hereby promises to pay to said trustee for its services aforesaid, the i following schedule of fees: Acceptance fee, 1/10 of 1% Annual fee, 1/20 of l7o for total bonds outstanding, with minimum charge of $1.50 per annum. 6 For retirement of bonds at maturity or redemption of bonds prior to maturity, 1/8 of 1% of the principal of the bonds paid nlus advertising costs, if any. For payment cf semi-annual interest, 1/4 = of 1% of irterest money paid. i j For certification of bonds, 50d per bond. f E I r td f 532 Closing fee, 1/20 of 15 of the authorized issue . Reasonable compensation for such additional services as may be performed from time to time by said trustee in accordance with Article VIII, Section 9, of the Trust Indenture. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the foregoing Resolution be adopted. Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried. i Moved by Alderman Naylor that the report and recommendations of the Committee on Parking Meters for the business district be accepted and the Committee discharged. Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried, k, i Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen approve the payment of $22.50 per month for NYA office rental for the months 3 of January, February, and March 1941. 1 I Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried. f Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen grant the request of the Disabled American Veterans for the D. S. Dudley Carnival March 28th to April 5th. inclusive. Mayor Fitzgerald declared the motion lost for v�ant of a second. i I i i 536 i I i f i i !s I i Residents and property owners adjacent to Avenue C and Harrison filed a petition with the Bowd of Aldermen requesting that some action be taken to widen the first block on Avenue C west of Harrison Street* t i Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen authorize the payment of $14.80 delinquent tax settlement on certain right of way property originally acquired from Gordon West. f Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried. Moved by Alderman '%blf that the Yayor be authorized to appoint a Committee for the purpose of appraising the right of way necessary for the railway spur track serving the proposed Technical Air Training School. Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen authorize the purchase of two tax billing machines at ;511.29. Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried. M Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Bowd of Aldermen authorize the change in plans and specifications for the remodeling of the old Fire and Police Station building into a Fire Station, to provide for sectional doors at an estimated extra cost of $100.00. i Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. Moved by Alderman Wo1P that the Board of Aldermen authorize and j order adjustment of personal and property taxes and settlement of same as set out in the following schedule. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen adjourn. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. ° The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
