RESOLUTION
bE IT RESOLVED BY THE BO.tRD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEARS:
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called to be held on the lst
day of April, A. D. 194 1 , for the purpose of electing three aldermen
for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldermen shall be elected are hereby
designated as Nos. 12 2, and 3 Said Aldermen shall serve the City of Wichita
Falls for the ensuing two years and until their successors are elected and qualified.
SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with the laws of
the State of Texas and ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, made and
provided in such cases. The places for holding said election shall be at the Central
Police Station; Travis School ; Barwise School ; Wichita County Court House; Kemp
Public Library; Baber's Pharmacy; 17th Street Fire Station; Jefferson Street Fire
Station; 7th Street Fire Station; Floral Heights Cook Shop; 1911 Collins; Baum's
r Pharmacy; Giddings St. Fire Station; Monroe Street Pharmacy; English Pharmacy;
Buchanan St. Fire Station; Turner's Barber Shop, 705 N. Broadway and East Side
Presbyterian Church; and shall be conducted by the followinj named persons :
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precinct No. 1, which is
included within the following boundary: "Beginning at the intersection of center
line of Seventh Street with the center line of the FFN&DC Railway Company main track,
thence westwith the center line of Seventh Street to center line of Lamar Street,

SECTION 4. That a copy of this resolution signed by Mayor of said
City and attested by the City Clerk shall serve as proper notice of said election.
The N.ayor is authorized and directed to cause this notice of an
election to be posted at the City Hall and in each election precinct Within
said City for at least fifteen fall days prior to the date of said election.
SECTION 5. The N.ayor is further authorized and directed to cause
this notice of election to be published in some newspaper of general circulation
published in said City once each week for two consecutive weeks. The date of
the first publication shall not be less than fifteen flill days prior to the date
of said election.
