The Board of Aldermen net in regular session on the above date
at 8:00 o'clock P. 1 . in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The minutes of the meeting of December 9th, were read.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the minutes of December 9th be
approved as read.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.

The ILayor requested the City Attorney to alvise the Axtell Co. ,
that the City tias removing; certain wire fence from the property occupied
by the National Guard Armory, said fence being the property of the City of
YIchita Falls, and having been loaned for the use of the national Guard
until such time as required by the City or expiration of the lease on
said property.
The icard of Aldermen received the T-oitten Blair: of C. A.
Lininger for his .rife, Yrs. C. A. Lininger in the sum of $25.00 for alleged
damages to automobile. Action on this claim as deferred for further
W10 ation by the City nanager.
Moved by Alderman "i.11iams that the Board of Aldermen
authorize and order adjustment of personal and property taxes and settle-
ment of vane as set out in the following schedule.

Loved by Alderman tiyer that the Board of Aldermen pay to
the Wichita General cspital the sum of 42420.78 In payment of like sum by
Wichita County.
Notion seconded by Alderman Traylor and carried.
R",oved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Alderman approve
the payment of $7,000.00 to Joe E. r"ard, Engineer as per the terms of
contract between the City of Wichita Falls and Toe E. 11lard in the construct-
ion of Water System Improvement.

roved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen approve
the payment of �6,246.25 to the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Trustee,
in payment of interest due on City of Wichita Falls Water Improvement
iievenue Bonds, being; interest on said Bonds from October 1, 1940 to April
1, 1941.
Motion seconded by Alderman flyer and carried.
1-oved by Alderman Hyer that the Mayor be authorized to appoint
a come ittee from the Board of Aldermen to investigate the proposed plans and
changes in the arrangement of building, runways, etc. at the hunici pal
Airport, and further authorize said Com' ittee to act immediately and without
reference to the Board of Aldermen in any emergency.
