Wolf that the minutes of October 7th be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Stampfli * * * * * * * * * * ORDINANCE NO. 1310 AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR THE FISCAL, YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1940, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1941. Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that Ordinance No. 1310 be passed on its second reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried wihh the following vote: Yeas: Fitzpatrick, Hyer, Naylor, Stampfli, Williams and Wolf. Nys: None. 463 Moved by Alderman Williams that the Hoard of Aldermen grant chauffeur's license on application of Otis Bridges, Otis Elmore and Odis F. Smith. Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen grant license to display fireworks to the Lehrack Dairy products Co., October 23rd and 24th. Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried. Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen approve the issuance of a license to Howard Renfro for the installation of over-ground gasoline, kerosene and naptha storage tanks, maximum capacity of any single unit not to exceed 3,000 gallons, and gasoline stor^ge +anks for retail station connected directly with retail , and locrted at 1711- 5th Street. Investment Co., plat hereto attached and made a part of these records. Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize and • order the transfer of $1,000 from the ' ater Fund to the Parking Meter Fund. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that thA Board of Aldermen hereby order the advertising for bids for the annual audit of City Departments and Accounts for the fiscal year closing September 30, 1940, on specifications reviewed by the Board of Aldermen. I-lotion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board ,of Aldermen authorize payment of $2547.16 to the Wichita General Hospital on the payment of like sum by TA'ichita County. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen adjourn. Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
