Memorial Auditorium
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session on the above date at 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Room of the
Memorial Auditiorium with the following members present:

The minutes of the meeting of September 30, 1940 were read.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the minutes of September 30th be
approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried.

Moved by Alderman St-mpfli that the Board of Aldermen approve applica-
tion for a special permit for the construction of a frame building on the
northeast corner of llth and Broad Streets with the building line fronting on
llth Street to be approximately 12 feet from the property line. It being
agreed by the owner of the building and the business at this location that
the premises will be kept at All times clean and sanitary.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and curried.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen approve installation
of school crossing traffic signs approaching the intersection of 6th and Broad
ctrpets.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen approve and accept
the offer or bid of the Dual Parking Meter Co. , Oklahoma City, contained in their
letter of September loth, addressed to the City Manager, for the furnishing and
installation of dual automatic meters for a period of 12 months after dater
and authori7.e the immediate purchase of 50 Dual Automatic Meters at a net price
of $34.50 each on the terms and conditions contained in letters of September loth.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize
and order adjustment of personal and n_ roperty taxes and settlement of same
as set out in the following schedule:

` Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen allow the request
f of the Wichita Poster Advertising Co. , for permission to erect a poster panel
at 1108 Scott Street, to be located not less than 10 feet south of the building
occupied by Malaeord & Sons, and not less than 50 feet from other near by
buildings; using wood construction.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1310
AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT
FOR TNF' FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1940, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1941.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that Ordinance No. 1310 be passed on its
first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried with the following vote:
Yeas: Hyer, Naylor, Stampfli, Williams and Wolf.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen Adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
