Memorial Auditorium
The Board of Aldermen met in regular called session Wednesday,
August 21, at 5:30 o'clock P. M. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium
with the following members present:
Ralph W. Hyer, -' 0
H. J. Naylor, Aldermen
J. M. Williams, p
Frank Wolf,
J. Bryan Miller, City Manager
J. H. Crouch, City Clerk
There being a quorum present, and in the absence of the Mayor
it was moved by Alderman Naylor that Alderman Wolf be elected Mayor-protem
for this regular called session.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen of the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby authorize the filing by the Mayor-protem
on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls, of a NPA Project proposal to main-
tain and operate the Searing Room Project, same being a unit of the State
wide project sponsored by the Department of Public Welfare with the City of
Wichita Falls and Wichita County, Texas as co-sponsors, and being a continuation
of WP-14111, for the fiscal year October 1, 1940 to September 30, 1941.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hyer that the meeting adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
