issuance of a dance license to Tom Singleton, colored, 419 PloodSt.,

request of the Commercial Loan Company for special permit to erect sign
at their place of business.

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen grant Chauffeur's
license to Elmer Lovern.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen hereby approve
contract dated June 5, 19409 by and between the City of Wichita Falls and
Mrs. Frances Y. Graham, for the sale of Lot 1, Block 3 Lakewood Addition to
the City of Wichita Falls for a consideration of $100,00; $40.00 in cash
upon execution of contract, and $60.00 to be paid at the rate of $5.00 per
mouth, bearing interest at the rate of 6% per annum, and further authorized
the Mayor to execute a deed conveying said lot to Mrs. Graham when the contract
is fully discharged.
Motion secondedby Alderman Hyer and carried.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen hereby authorize
and order the transfer of the sum of $125,000.00 from the rater Fund to the
General Pond. /

Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen hereby authorize and
order the transfer of the sum of $10,000 from the Water Fund to the Street
Fund, and $1500.00 from the Water Fund to the Library Fund. /
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen hereby approve and
order paid the sum of $45,990 to Crummer & Co., and associates, now due as fees
under the terms of their agreement made and entered into April 18, 1940 by
the City of Wichita Falls and said Crummer & Co., and their associates for the
refunding of $3,150,000 the City of Wichita Falls Bonds, less any expense
incurred by the City of Wichita Falls, and City National Bank of Wichita Falls,
under the terms of the aforementioned contract and agreement between the City
National Bank and Crummer & Co. , and associates; and further authorize the
payment to Crummer & Co., of $3,150.00 for attorney's fees, less the sum of
$750.00 previously paid to Masslich & Mitchell as attorney's fees.

of Space 407 Riverside Cemetery to Mrs. Herman Hester.

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen grant
the request of Wichita County candidates of the election called for
July 27th, for the use of the Scotland soft ball field on the night
of Tuly 2nd, for a County wide political rally, provided the schedule
for this rally does not conflict with the schedule of the Soft Ball
Association, and upon the payment of actual expenses for the operation
of the field.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
