After some discussion of Crdi.nanc^ 372 -nd Amendments, nrid Ordinance -overnin- the collection and disnosal of trash and �­.rba-e within the City Limits, Mayor Fitzgerald arpointed a. Council Crmmittee composed of Aldermen T-Tyer, Williams and Wolf, to further consider anl review the said Ordinance, and propose, or introduce, an. ^dditional ordinance nr amendment to existirp rrdinarcrs above mentioned. Moved by Alderman Stamnfli that tho Foard of Aldermen, after consideration of four bids for Ybtor Grader, and upon the recommendation of the City Mana-er, a-prove and accept bids of J. D. Adams Co. , of $4,252.70 net amount , a fter credit of old equipment traded in. �s the lowest and best bid. Motion secorded by Alderman Naylor and carried. J. 0. Polhemus appeared before the Council and asked for recommendation of an alleged claim of some $250 for street excavation made by J. 0. Polhemus in 1925. Moved by Alderman Stamnfli that the Roard of Aldermen Prant a snecial permit to Sinclair Service Station at 9th and Denver, to remove the present Comrany sign from its present location on driveway and install same between the curb and sidewalk line. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor an,' carried. t/ F T. R. Martin and Mr. Smith, representing the Wichita Falls Rifle & Pistol Club reauested the Council's consideration of the use of a strip of land =9pproximately 225 feet wide, extending from Se-mour Figb ay cut off right-of-way, to the Wichita River and '!noted on the City Park property immediately adjacent to and inside the City Limits. On sugsestion of the Mayor this request ws taken under advise- ment and the City Man-ger asked to m-ke a de+ail?d report and recommenda- tion. R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, it is the intention of th,- Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to refund the principal sinn of the City's Consolidated Refunding Fonds dated June 1, 1936; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen have duly passed and approved Ordinance No. 1303, said Ordinance authorizing the refunding of Consolidated R fundi nn Ronds agpreAating the principal si.nn of t3,150,000 -nd the retirement of 935,000 Consolidated Rrfundinp, Fonds, anc total- Ina an a-gregate amount of $3,185,000 Consolidated Refunding Fonds for the purpose of discharging in corfnrmity with the aforesaid Ordinance No. 1303. NOW. THEREFORE, '�E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF VI?CHITA FALLS, TEXAS: Thrt t'ie sum of 923,728.32 be transferred from the 77ater Fund and deposited in the Sinking Fund for the purpose of creating suffi- cient funds to retire and discharne $35,000 Consolidated Refunding Bonds, dated June 1, 1936, retirement of said bonds being- provided for under Ordinance No. 1303, Anril. 30, 1940.
