The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session on the above date at 8:00 o'clock p. m. in the Council Room of the Memorial
Auditorium with the following members present:

J. Bryan Miller, City Manager
J. H. Crouch, City Clerk
T. A. Hicks, City Attorney
The minutes of the meeting of March llth were read.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the minutes of the meeting of
March llth be approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board authorize and order the adjust-
ment of personal and property delinquent taxes and settlement of same as outlined in
the following schedule:
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.

Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of !Aldermen authorize W. E.
Fitzgerald, Mayor, to execute for and on behalf of the City a certain contract for
engineering services with Joe E. Ward, Engineer, said contract dated the 18th day
of March, A. D. 1940; contract to cover services in the preparation in the pre-
paration of the detailed plans and specifications of a water filtration and softens
ng
plant suitable for use of Lake Wichita crater and for a maximum cost of $7,000.00.
Motion seconded by Alderman nebb and curried.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
The hoard of Aldermen then adjourned.
