TEXAS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CIT' OF WICHITA FALLS,
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called to be held on the 2nd
day of April, A, D. 1940, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and three Aldermen
for the City of hichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldermen shall be elected are herehy
designated as Nos. 4, 5 and 6. Said Aldermen shall serve the City of "ichita
Falls for the e nsuiny two years and until their successors are elected and qual-
ified.
SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with the laws of
the State of Texas and ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls,

City and attested by the City Clerk shall serve as proper notice of said
election.
The Mayor is authorized and directed to cause this notice of an
election to be hosted at the City Hall and in each election precinct within
said City for at least fifteen full days prior to tl-.le date of said election.
SECTION 5. The Mayor is further authorized ann directed to cause
this notice of election to be published in some newspsner of �7,eneral circu-
lation published in said City once each week for two consecutive weeks. The
date of the first nublication shall not be less than fifteen full_ days prior
to the date of said election

Moved by A- Berman Williams that the B—,rd approve the renewal of
a lease by and between the City end one, Milton Katz, dated February 17, 1939,
and lease for one year to said Katz all. of that part of Front Street west of
the west line of Indiana Avem?e and extending to Bi? Wichita River, the same
being7, the dead end of Front Street, for the sum. of $130.00, all upon the terms
and conditions as set out in the .oriripal lease.

rersonal and property delinnuent taxes and settlement of same as set out in
the following schedule:
