Memorial Auditorium Building
November 27, 1939
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session on the above date at 8:00 o'clock P. Me in the Council Room of the Memorial
Auditorium with the followings members present:

T. Bryan Miller, City Manager
T. H. Crouch, City Clerk
Thelbert Martin, Assistant City Attorney
The minutes of the meeting of November 20th were read.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the minutes of the meeting of Nov-
ember 20th be approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that the City Manager hereby be authorized
to expend the funds necessary for the prepdrati6h . of engineering data on a
contemplated IPA project to construct a by-pass to deliver Lake Kemp irrigation water
to the portion of the Wichita County Irrigation District No. I lying below Lake
Wichita and now irrigated out of Lake Wichita.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
Roved by Alderman Naylor that the Board authorize the following tax
refunds: j
H. S. Ford, Lot 4, Block, Southland Addition, homestead,
1934-1938, inclusive $210.00
D. D. Bain, Lot 2, Block 169, Original, homestead,
1937-1938, inclusive 39.88
R. J. Condon, Lot 10, Block 20, Original, homestead,
of 1938 taxes 2.38
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Loved by Alderman Naylor that the Board hereby autborize the City's
participation with Wichita County in the construction of an addition to Wichita
General Hospital building and order the payment of one-half the costs of said addi-
tion including fees, etc. , on specification and bids to be a--,proved.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Moved by Alderman Vblf that the Board grant the issuance of a permi
to solicit advertising to the Varsity Magazine.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board hereby authorize the payment
of a $50,00 fee to Dr. Robert Hargraves for services rendered to H. A. Bancroft,
park employee, injured in line of duty.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
