Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the minutes of the
meeting of September llth be approved as read.

the City T"-anager and investigate draina�,e conditions at the South end of
Yonroe Street and at the intersection of Broad and 21st Street, reporting
ivith r_^commendations and estimates to the Board.
A written protest by business interests in the vic .nity
of 807-1 Tenth Street ryas filed with the Counci'. seeking a rehearing on an
application for public dance license at 8071 Tenth Street and praying th_ t the
approval of the Council for a dance license at said location be revoked and
license denied.
No action was taker, by the Board in this matter.
L. B. Greene, represented by an attorney, presented and
filed with the Board preliminary proposal as a basis for a contract with the
City of Wichita Falls for the collection, removal and disposal of all the
garbage, trash and refuse .
P_oved by Alderman Stampfli that the proposal of L. B.
Greene to remove, under contract, the garbage, trash and refuse of the City
be considered by the Bo,,rd of Aldermen. and action deferred.

L. L. r:untz, representing the Spanish-4meriean War
Veterans requested triat the Council consider the construction of an outside
entrance leading to the quarters in the 17unicipal auditorium Building ti%�hich
are assigned for the use of said crganizat on together r.-ith other similar
organizations.
I'ayor Fiztgerald requested the Yanager to investigate
and retort on the feasibility of such an entrance to the Yunicipal i-uditorium
Building.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board authorize
and order payment to the Wichita General Hospital the sum of �2,225.25 upon
payment of a like sur< by Vhchita County.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried.
Moved by Alderman 'Williams that the Board authorize
and order the City Treasurer to transfer the stuns of money set out below:
