in regular session at 8 o'clock p. m. on the above date in the Council Room of

Representatives of the Highland Heights Baptist Church
requested the Council's action to close Hayes Street between York and Avenue Q.
I'ayor Fitzgerald advised that the Council would consider
the request upon filing of a uritten agreement by property otter,effected and
set public hearing. '
Droved. by Alderman Stampfli that the Board order permit
to be issued for the installation of two 2,000 gallon gasoline storaSe tanks
at Zishth and Travis by the Phillips Petroleum Company and under the direction
of the City Engineer.

Poved by Alderman Williams that the Board order permit
to be issued to Phillips Petroleum Company for the erection of a service station
sign at Eighth and Travis subject to the tc the approval of the State lliohway
Department, between the curb line and the sidewalk.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried.
1.oved by Alderman Williams that the Board order permit to
issue for the erection of a service station sign at Third Street and Scott
Avenue by the Phillips Petroleum Company, said sign to be located betreen the
sidevialk line and the curb line, subject to the approval and consent of the
State Tlighway Department.

issuance of a dance license to Sammy VI lliams, location at 807-1" Tenth Street,
with the understanding that a police officer be employed and paid by the
operator.

a dance license to Roy Bodle, location at 111 North Burnett Street, with the
understanding that the operator shall employ and keep on duty a police officer.

RESOLUTION
Vu MEAS, under paragraph 9 of the Titten contract between
Campbell, Phelps and Company, Inc. , and the City of 1ichita Fars for tl:e re-
funding of the City's entire bonded indebtedness of 3,185,000.00, it is provided:
"This agreement shall be, binding upon the parties hereto and their assigns or
successors unless an act of God or war conditions in Europe, Asia, or the United
States becor::e such as to render performance impossible, in i,,,hich event, this agree
ment shall termir:.cte, and the $10,000.00 earnest money shall be refunded to the
Corpany, and the City shall pay the fee earned by the Company, under the terms
of the agreement, up to t' e date of said event." and,

and on behalf of th. City of V9ichita Falls in the construction of the Yunicipal
Co*-munity Club Building, said construction being hereby approved as a t' . P. A.
Project by the Board of Aldermen, and,

mittee desires the City to handle and record all receipts and disbursements made
in the construction of said building project and further desires thnt funds for
said construction be handled and accounted for separately and apart from the funds
and the accounts of the City of liichita Falls,
