The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regularly
called session in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium on the above date
with the following members present:

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fitzgerald who announced
the purpose of the meeting to be the consideration of Ordinance No. 1289 author-
izing the refunding of the outstanding banded indebtedness of the City.
ORDINANCE NO. 1289
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $Zt185,000 GENERAL RE—
FUNDING BOMB OF THE CITY OF gdICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REFUNDING
A LIKE AMOUNT OF OUTSTANDING BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY, FI):ING THE FORM
AND DETAILS OF SAID GENERAL REFUNDING BOLDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYh�INT OF
SAID B0!;ES ARID THE INTER ST THEREON AND FOR THE L"'lY AND COILECT?ON OF TAX's FOR
SUCH PURPOSE, AND DECLARING AN ELMRGENCY,
Moved by Alderman Wolf that Ordinance No. 1289 be passed on its
first reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bebb, Fitzpatrick, Naylor, Stampfli, Williams and
Welf.
Nays: None.
three Moved by Alderman Williams that the rule requiring ordinances to be
read en ,6eparate days be suspended and an emergency declared and Ordinance No. 1289
be passed on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried by the fallowing
vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bebb, Fitzpatrick, Naylor, Stampfli, Williams and
Wolf.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that Ordinance No. 1289 be passed oil its
third and final reading and adopted as read.

Nays: None.
The representative of Campbell-Phelps Company, agent for the Refund-
ing of the City of Wichita Falls Bands, transmitted to the Mayor, a good faith
deposit in the sum of $10,000 in connection with contract by and between Campbell-
Phelps Company and the City for the refunding of bonded indebtedness.
Mayor Fitzgerald accepted this deposit in behalf of the City and
ordered same to be held in the account of the treasurer per the terms of the
contract.
Moved by Alderman Welf that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by Hlderman Stampfli and carried.
The Board of "ldermen then adjourned.
