Represented by his attorney, EiAAng Clagett, Milton Katz
operator Acme Junk Co., requested the Board to order the renewal of Lease
expiring February 15th, covering the dead end of Front Street for a
consideration of $100.00 per year, with an option of one additional year.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize
execution of lease between the City of TNichitar'alls and T;'ilton Katz,
operator of the Acme Junk Co. , for the dead end of Front St. , subsequent
to an investigation by the City ,anager, and his determination as ' to the
amount of consideration.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.
The Board of Aldermen Yere requested by citizens and property
owners adjacent to Avenue C between Harrison and Giddings Streets to consider
the widening of said Ave C at that location. Iayor Fitzgerald referred this
request to the City Tvlanar;er and City Engineer for investigation and report to
Council.
Loved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize
and order the installation of a Three-way stop and go traffic signal at the
intersection of Harrison and Lc()regor streets, and at tYe intersection of
Harrison and 111ilson Streets, and further order the prohibition of all
parking on the north side of Avenue H, betreen Harrison Street and the
first alley west intersecting- Ave II.

Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board of Aldermen
authorize the adjustment of delinquent personal and property taxes, and
settlement of same as outlined in the following schedule.

authorize the continuance of WFA Project Treviously approved for
improvement of Parks and Cemeteries, in the construction of new drive-
mays through Riverside Cemetery at estimated cost of $350.00
for grading, drainage, structure, Travel, labor, gas and oil, and at an
additional cost of UP100.00 for a rock retaining wall, as estimated in report
by City LanaFer, for the development of P ausoleum sites and additional
lots.

on the death of the former City Health Officer, Dr. 1. h. Fletcher,
and to be spread upon the Minutes.
Loved by Alderman. Naylor that the Board of Aldermen adjourn
until the next regular meeting of February 20th, 1939.
