The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met
in regular session at 8:00 P. L. on the above date in the Council Room in
the Lemorial Auditorium with the following members present:

The Iinutes of the regular meeting, of January 9th, were read.
Proved by Alderman Bebb that the 1inutes of the regular meeting
of January 9th, be approved as read.
Potion seconded. by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Representatives of the Parent Teacher's Association of
several City Schools appeared before the Board of Aldermen, requesting, and
ur^ing, the strict enforcement of provisions of the Sanitary code, with
particular reference to the quarantining of contagious diseases.
Attorney for Eli blorgan fal oerLorgan, doing business as
the Terminal Storage, filed a request r vge rection of Texaco Service
Station sign at 816-818 Ohio Ave. This was referred to the City Tanager and
the City Engineer.
Attorney for T. V. Satterwhite presented, and filed, an
application with the Hoard of Aldermen for license to conduct public dances
at 1002 Burkburn.ett Road.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Hoard of Aldermen grant
license to overate public dances to T. V. Sattel•field, location 1002 Burkburnett
;oad, subject to subsequent approval of the Health Department, and subject to
the employment of a special police officer, said officer to be paid by the
applicant, and appointed by Chief of Police, with the understandinfI2. that this
_License may be cancelled by the Chief of Police without reference to the Council.

I:'loved by Alderman Bebb that the Council authorize
adjustment of personal and property taxes, and settlement of same,
as outlined in the folloviing schedule.

authorize payment of an adjusted account of $100.00 to Drs. Stripling
and Johnson for medical services rendered City employee H. I . Elorris, in-
jured in line of duty.

i_oved by Alderman Bebb that the Board of Aldermen authorize
for, and. on behalf of, the City of v`i.chita Fills, renewal for ten yearn
period a certain lease of Wichita Falls and Oklahoma Railiay Co., for the
use of certain land used for street purooses for the consideration of $1.00
and the assumption of taxes on said land, by the City of `++ichita Falls.
Said lease to be approved and accepted by the City subject to the approval
of the City .Attorney.

of Alderman approve and order nayrnent of $2,129.83, to the
Vdichita General Hospital for December account, upon the
payment of like sum by Wichita County.

ViPA RESOLUTION NO. 2
Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board of Aldermen
of the City of Vdichita FaJ_ls authorize the execution for, and on
behalf of, the City of Wichita Falls for that certain Vdorks Progress
Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 2-39, and
being a project to prepare open card index, transcribe and compile
City Ordinances of Wichita Falls, Texas, and make a survey and
card index of furniture, fixtures and equipment of the City of `Vichita
Falls, Texas, and further that W. E. Fitzgerald, Layor of the City
of Vdichita Falls be authorized to execute such Project as the Sponsor's
Agent, and that T. Bryan Yliller, City Manager, be authorized to execute
such project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City.

A'oved by Alderman Bebb that the Board of Aldermen
of the City of Wichita Falls, do hereby allocate and set aside to that
certain project described in Works Administration Project Proposal,
Sponsor's Proposal No. 2-39, and entitled "Project to _prepare open
card index, transcribe and compile City Ordinances of I'lichita Falls,
Texas, and make a survey and card index of furniture, fixtures and
equipment of the City of Vdichita Falls, Texas," all those certain
funds, materials and equipment as set put in such project proposal,
as the Sponsor's contribution, and being a total amount of . 962.35,
and that such funds be allocated from and constitute a charge against
the General Fund of said City.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen
adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
