vMER Y"O, it has come to the attention of the Board of Aldermen
of the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, in regular session
on this, the 21st day of November 1938, that the State highway Department
will order a location made on Highway No. 30, from a point near the north
and of the Wichita -diver Bridge on Scott Street to a. point on Arkansas
Street near Caroline Street, provided, the City of VP chita Falls, through
it's Board of Aldermen, agrees to secure a minimut-, of one hundred (100) foot -
maximum two rundred (200) foot right-of-Tway, clear of all obstructions,
except standing timber, and furnish without cost to the State, clear title to
the necessary right-of-way, including all standing timber, throu&,,h each and
every tract crossed by said highway, on location approved by the State Highway
IEngineer before said location is made.
It is, therefore, ordered that the City of Wichita :Falls,
acting herein by and through it's Board of Aldermen, agrees and obligates
itself to secure a minimum of one hundred (100) foot - maximum two hundred
(200) foot right-of-way on HighTrray No. 30 fron a point -ear the North and
of the ;4ichita River Bridge on Scott Street to Arkansas Street near Caroline
Street and to clear such right-of-way of all obstructions, except standing
timber, and furnish a clear title to each parcel secured, including all
standing timber, without cost to the State, through each and every tract
crossed by this highii�ray, on location to be approved by the State Highway
-nrineer.

follow ng accounts incurred by reason of accidents to City employees in line
of duty:
To Dr. Robert Hargrave total sur.,; of seventy one dollars ($71.00)
fifty vt� dollars ( 5D.00) of which was authorized by Council November 14th.
To Dr. W. P. Lowry twelve dollars ( >12.00) .
To Dr. 1. A. Little eleven dollars a7id fifty cents ( 11.50)

and order the, transfer of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00) from the

of City of a+ichita Falls Bonds in a sum not to exceed thirty five thousand
dollars ($35,000.00) and at a price not to exceed ninety four (94) and accrued
interest.

Loved by Alderman Hardage that the Board authorize payment to
Smoot and Smoot, attorneys the sure of thirteen hundred sixty tvro dollars
and fifty cents ($1362.50) including; principal �.nd interest, in payment of
judgmzent in the case of Brown vs the City of %ichita Falls, and further
authorized payment of costs in said case.
