The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
at 8:00 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:
W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor

The- minutes of the regular meeting of October 17th were read.
Moved by Alderman Hardage that the Minutes of the regular meeting of
October 17th be approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1278
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH A OF SECTION FOUR OF OPDINANCE ITO. 568
REGULATING INSTALLATION OF GASOLINE TANKS, PEF81ITTING THE INSTALLATION OF TANKS
TO BE SET ON NOT LESS THAN SIX INCHES OF SAND ON SIX INCfiES OF CONCRETE
AS IS PROVIDED BY THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that Ordinance No. 1278 be passed on its first
reading.
Notion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bebb, Naylor, Fitzpatrick, Hardage, Williams and Wolf.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board grant to the property owner at
1673 Woodrow Street permission to construct a part of driveway across the Water
canal right-of-way, the portion extending over the right-of-way being a triangle
approximately three feet wide on the street and extending twenty feet to a point.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board authorize the immediate com-
pletion of that portion of park program, 1APA Project No. 4-38, providing for the
planting of shrubs, trees, etc, in Riverside Cemetery.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Alderman Williams read a letter addressed to the Board of Aldermen by Mr.
Frank Kell presenting to the City of Wichita Falls 150 shares of the stock of the
Wichita Falls Airport Co., Inc.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls accept the offer of 150 shares of the stock of the Wichita Falls Airport Co.,
Inc., presented by Mr. Frank Kell and hereby express the deep appreciation of this
Board of Mr. Kell for his generous gift and further order that the letter of Mr. Kell
be incorporated in these Minutes, and further request the Mayor to express the atti-
tude and appreciation of this Council to Mr. Kell.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried.

We herewith hand you Certificate No. 105 covering 150 Shares of the Wichita
Falls Airport Company.
We are presenting this to the Mayor and City Council by reason of the fact
that the Airport carries our Name and we feel that we should do something to earn this
recognition.
We are very glad to have an important transportation industry like the
Wichita Falls Airport Company named for us.
