Memorial Auditorium Building
August 18, 1938
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Vyichita Falls met in regular called
session on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with the
following members present:
Frank Wolf, 1
J. W. Fitzpatrick,
Pat Hardage, Aldermen
Jas. M. Williams,
H. J. Naylor,
J. Bryan Miller, City Manager
Geo. T. Henderson, Acting City Clerk
Moved by Alderman Williams that in the absence of the Mayor that Alderman
Hardage be elected Mayor Pro Tem of this meeting.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the following resolution be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Williams, Naylor, Wolf, Fitzpatrick.

APPLICATION RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF W ICHITA FALLS TO FILE AN APPLICATION
TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF
PUBLIC WORKS FOR A LOAN AND GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITION
TO THE KE P PUBLIC LIBRiM AND DESIGNATING J. BRYAN MILLER, CITY MANAGER, TO FURNISH
SUCH INFORMATION AS TEE GOVERN= MAY REQUEST.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL:
SECTION 1. That J. Bryan Miller, City Manager, be and he is authorized
to exxcute and file an application on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls to the
United States of America for a loan and grant to aid in financing the construction
of an addition to the Kemp Public Library,
SECTION 2. That J. Bryan Miller, City Manager, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the United States of
America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works may reasonably
request in connection with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the following resolution be adopted.

WORKS FOR A LOAN AND GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CChSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITION TO THE
W'ICHITA GENERAL HOSPITAL AND DESIGNATING J. BRYAN MILLER, CITY MANAGER# TO FURNISH
SUCH INFORMATION AS TIM GOVERN 2NT MAY REQUEST,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL:
SECTION 1. That J. Bryan Miller, City Manager, be and he is authorized to
execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls to the United
States of America for a loan and grant to aid in financing the construction of an
addition to the Wichita General Hospital.
SECTION 2. That J. Bryan Miller, City Manager, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the United States of America
through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works may reasonably request
in connection with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
