Min 06/27/1938 949 Wichita Falls , Texas Memorial Auditorium Building June 27, 1938 The Board of Aldermen of the City of t;,ichita Falls met in regular session at 8:00 P. 1 . on the above date in the Council Root in the 11'emorial Auditoriums with the following members present: X. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor Edwin A. Bebb, J. W. Fitzpatrick, J. Naylor, Pat Hardage, Aldermen .Tas. PJ-L. Williams, Frank V,'o1f, T. Bryan . iller, City 1.7anager J. H. Crouch, City Clerk T. j . Hicks, City Attorney The 1inutes of the regular meeting of June 20th were read. Moved by i�lderman Wolf that the P:iinutes of the regular meeting of June 20th be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried. Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board authorize sale of Spce No. 391, Block Z, Riverside Cemetery, to E. N. Yeakley. Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried. I-loved by Aldeman Bebb that the Board authorize the construction of 5 additional tennis courts at the site of eeks Park Tennis Club at an apprcximte cost of $450.00, provided the Tennis Club secures additional revenue from old and new members to be paid in advance in the sum of approximately ;'400.00. Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried. i::oved by Alderman Zolf that the Board approve the request of property owners for the cutting of street pavement on the west end of Tenth Street for the pupose of installation of a private sewer connection for filling station purposes situated on west half of Lots 6, 7 & 8, Block 56, Floral Heights Addition, at a cost not to exceed $40.00 to the City. 11otion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Proved by Alderman Naylor that the Board authorize and order payment of final judgment rendered in the case of C. L. Hughes and wife versus T. C. Hammon, Case No. 31493, in the sum of OW773.30, includirg costs, on the written opinion and advice of the City Attorney.
