Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Audit on um Building June 13, 1938 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session at 8:00 P. M. in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium on the above date with the following members present: Z'+. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor Edwin A. Bebb, J. W. Fitzpatrick, Pat Hardage, j H. J. Nay lor, Aldermen J. 11. Williams, j Frank Wolf, J. Bryan Miller, City Manager J. H. Crouch, City Clerk T. A. Hicks, City Attorney The Minutes of the regular meeting of June 6th were read. Moved by Alderman Hardage that the Minutes of the regular meeting of June 6th be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. The Committee of the Council appointed to investigate and crake recommen- dations relative to the dispostion of a building owned by J. C. Mytinger and situated at the Airport, reported and recommended purchase of the building for the sun of $300.00. Moved by Alderman Hardage that the Board authorize and order the purchase from J. C. Mytinger of the building known as the cafe building situated at the Airport for the sum of $300.00. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the City Manager be instructed to install two regular stop and go signal traffic lights on Harrison Street and Avenue H and McGregor. Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf with the following result : Yeas: Aldemen Wolf and Fitzpatrick. Nays: Aldermen Bebb, Williams, Hardage and Naylor. a Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board defer consideration of the instal- lation of treffic signal lights on Harrison Street until the next regular meeting. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Mr. Chas. Pfifer appeared before the Board requesting street repairs at Avenue E and Taylor. Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board authorize the tender of $250.00 in Hill settlement to Ralph Pittman, Attorney, for services in connection with the pur- chase of the old Post Office property. Motion second by Alderman Wolf and carried. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board reject application for dance hall license at 608 Tenth Street. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board defer action on application for domino license by Walter Hodges, 714 Ohio, for routine investigation. Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried. Mayor Fitzgerald read an invitation from the Fort Worth Chamber ofCommerce urging attendance of city officials at the Traffic and Accident Prevention School June 16, 1938.
