The Board of Alderrien of the City of ''Jchite Falls met in regular session
at 8:00 P. Y. on the above date in the Counci 1 Room in the Memorial Audi toritmr with
the following members present:

The Minutes of the redrular meeting of January 31st were read.
Yoved by Alderman Hardage that the TJnutes of the regular meeting of
January 31st be approved as read.

The Council Conrsnittee appointed to investigate the claim of Jim MM.rlow
reported an offer by the City to Ir. P%iarlow of 500 cash and d 1,500 to be applied
on taxes due the City for an anproximate 7 acres of lard at the site of the water
tower on the west end of the City and a strip of land approximately 275'xl6O' con-
necting said 7 acres with the city street.
The Cormiittee reported this offer was refused by P:Ir. Merlon. and that ir.
Marlow offered in lieu thereof other cons id.erations.
No action was taken by the Board on this matter.

Yoved by Alderman Naylor that Ordinance No. 1267 be passed on its first
reading.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried by the following; vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Naylor, Hardage, Fitzpatrick, Williams and 's7olf.
Nays: ?None.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board extend the time for payment of current
city taxes from January 31st to February 28th without penalty and interest, and that
there be no further extension on any current taxes.
There being no second, the 1!ayor declared the motion lost.
Moved by Alderman Voillinms that the Board authorize the reconditioning of
quarters in the old Post Office Building for district W.P.,% offices at a total cost
not to exceed A300; this expenditure to be in lieu of money previously authorized in
the sum of $150 per month for rental and utilities for said Vu.P.A. offices in the Brawn
Building.

and property taxes and settlement of same as outlined in the following schedule:
