Min 01/17/1938 3102 Wichita Falls , Texas Itemoria.l Auditorium Building January 17, 1938 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session at 8:00 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with the following members present: W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor Edwin A. Bebb, X J. 11.1. Fitzpatrick, Pat Hardage, X H. J. Naylor, Aldermen 1. M. Williams, � Frank Wolf, � J. Bryan Miller, City Manager J. H. Crouch, City Clerk T. A. Hicks, City Attorney The Minutes of theyregul.ar meeting of January 3rd and of theregular meeting of January 10th were read. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Minutes of the regular meetings of January 3rd and loth be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board authorize and order tax refunds on account of homestead exemptions to J. Vr. Bullington on Lots U and 12, Block L, Montgomery Addition, $7.00, and to Mrs. Margaret Finkler on Lot 6, Block 80, Floral Heights Addition, 021.42. Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried. Petition requesting sanitary sewer extension in alley between N. Lamar and N. Scott from North Wichita to River, was presented to the Board and referred to the City Manager for investigation and recommendation. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board rescind its action granting per- mission to Mr. O'Cleary, representative of the Gospel Army, to solicit funds in the City of ?dichita Falls for relief purposes and refer Fir. O'Cleary to the Managing Board of the Community Chest. Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried. Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried. Moved by Alderman V'tolf that the Board authorize the issuance of a permit to install gasoline pumps at 200 Scott Avenue, said pumps to be located between the street curb line and the property line and not less than 10 ft. inside the street curb line, subject to the approval of the State Highway Department and on condition that the entire area effected by the installation of said pumps be paved with concrete; it being further understood that said pumps will be removed on any request of the Board of Aldermen or State Highway Department, Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. �Ufl Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board authorize and order payment to Juanita Cash the sum of $42.85, being one half of an agreed judgment; same to be paid out of the Taxicab Deposit Fund. Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board authorize the _purchase and build- ing of seven two-way radio units for police cars at an approximate total cost of $900.00, and order payment for same out of the Parking Meter Fund. Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried. Loved by Alderman Naylor that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
