Fitzgerald, Y"iyor of the City of r:ichita Falls, Texas, be and he is hereby authorized to consummate the purchase of 420 parking meters from the said Parkrite Corporation of Houston, Texas, at the agreed consideration of Fifty eight ( 58.00) Dollars per meter, completely installed and placed in operation on the sidewalks of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, under the terns and provisions of said contract of November 2, 1936, and the proposal and specifications attached to said contract, and made a part thereof. SECTION 2. That said W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be hereby authorized to execute in the name of the City of " ichita Falls, Texas, any and all instruments that may be necessary and proper in the consummation of said contract. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board authorize paym.ent�offe certain judgment �&/'X in the sum of $500.00 in the case of Hal Mayer and wife versus Yellow Cab Company, and further instruct that all taxicab companies participating in the Taxicab Deposit Fund be notified of the intention of the Board to cancel licenses to operate unless the Taxicab Deposit Fund is fully paid on or before Yarch 15, 1938. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. Yoved by Alderman Wolf that the Board authorize and order payment of a claim in the a'um of $500.00 due R. L. Miller on the execution by R. L. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board of Aldermen of the City of 11riehita Falls authorize the execution for and on behalf of the City of 4ichita Falls for that certain 1�rorks Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 6-37, and being a project to quarry and haul stone for a recreation building, and, further, that W. E. Fitzgerald, Yayor of the City of Vichita Falls, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the Sponsor's Agent, and that J. Bryan Miller, City Manager, be authorizeato execute such project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City. Yotion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls do hereby allocate and set aside to that certain project described in Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 6-37, and entitled "Project to quarry and haul stone for a recreation building", all those certain funds, materials and equipment as set in such project proposal, as the Sponsor's contribution, and being in the total amount of 3,075.00, and that such funds allocated from and constitute a charge against the Park Fund of said City. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Mayor W. E. Fitzgerald recessed the meeting for a period of ten minutes. The Council convened after the recess and was called to order by the t4-ayor. All applications on file with the Board for the post of Corporation Judge were presented to the Board b� Mayor Fitzgerald, whereupon Alderman Williams nominated 0. L. Gibbs for the post of Corporation Judge, effective January 1, 1938. 1"oved by Alderman Wolf that nominations be closed and 0. L. Gibbs be elected Judge of the Corporation Courts Motion seconded by Aldermzn Bebb and carried unanimously. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the meeting be adjourned.
