The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
at 6:00 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The Minutes of the regular meeting of November 29th were read.
Moved by Alderman Babb that the I, inutes of the regular meeting of November
29th be approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1264
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND LICENSING CERTAIN PERSONS, FIRMS AND CORPORA-
TIONS ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS OF DEALING IN THE MJ MOTOR VEHICLES AND?OR USED CARS,
AS DEFINED HEREIN, WITHIN THE CORPORATION LIV-ITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, PRO-
VIDING THE TIME, FANNER, AND METHOD THEREOF, PROVIDING FOR THE INSPECTION AND
SUPERVISION OF SUCH PERSONS AND THEIR BUSINESSES, PROVIDING CERTAIN REGULATIONS,
PROVIDING FCR THE ISSUANCE, DISPLAY AND REVOCATION OF LICENSES, PROVIDING FOR THE
CLOSING OF PLACE OR PLACES OF BUSINESS ON SUNDAY, LICENSING SALESMEN, PRkSCRIBING
OFFENSES AIM PENALTIES, AND PROVIDING GENERALLY FOR THE ENFORCMhENT HEREOF, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that Ordinance No. 1264 be passed on its third and
final reading.

ORDINANCE NO. 1265
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING, ASSESSING, AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION IN THE
CITY OF TICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR A. D. 1937, AND LEVYING AN OCCUPATION
TAX ON ALL OCCUPATIONS TAXABLE UNDER THE Lk'rS OF THE STATE OF TFKAS 1J D THE
CHARTER AND ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that Ordinance No. 1265 be passed on its third and
final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Naylor, Fitzpatrick, Bebb, 'Billiams, Hardage, and Wolf.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board authorize adjustments of personal and
property taxes and settlement of same as outlined in the following schedule:

Yoved by Alderman Naylor that the Board authorize payment of all doctors
bills for Homer L. Morris, city employee, directly incident to the injuries suffered
by Mr. Plorris on or about June 21, 1937, upon release of the City by Morris and
approved by the City Attorney.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Yayor Fitzgerald excused Alderman Williams from further attendance at
this meeting.

ITY AND COLOR; DATE OF ARRIVAL AND DATE OF DEPP=RE; PROVIDING THAT NO ROOP,13,
APARTMENTS OR HOUSES SFJ,,LL BE IMNMD TO SUCH GUESTS 10,rD CUSTOMERS UNLESS SUCH
