The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
at 8:00 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The Yinutes of the regular meeting of November 22nd were read.
Moved by Alderman Babb that the Minutes of the regular meeting of Novem-
ber 22nd be Ppproved as read.
Notion seconded by Alderman Williams end carried.
1"_oved by Aldermen Herdage that the Board grant the request of the Lucy
Hensell Guild of the Presbyterian Church to hold r,i peeiel sale of oriental mer-
chPndise within the fire limits during December ena/7rhe conditions of such sale
come within the purview of ordinances regulating such sales, that the Board hereby
waive such terms and conditions.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board defer final passage of Ordinance
No. 1264 until next regular meeting.

Yoved by Aldermen Babb that the Board authorize purchese of materiels and
supplies for the completion of W.P.A. project for which application for grant was
duly made by resolution of this Board.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that the City Attorney be request to advise the
Board action end procedure to be taken in disposition of claims filed for payment
out of the Texicab Deposit Fund.
Motion seconded by Alderman Herdage and. carried.

Moved by Aldermen Williems that Ordinance No. 1265 be passed on its second
reeding.
Motion seconded by Alderman Babb and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Williams, Babb, Naylor, Fitzpatrick, Hardage, and Wolf.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board authorize adjustments of personal
and property taxes and settlement of same as outlined in the follovAng schedule:

Moved by .Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls authorize the execution for and on behalf of the City of Wichita Fells of that
certain Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 7-833,
and being P project to provide employment for needy persons in the collecting, reno-
vating, and repairing of contributed clothing, shoes, toys, end. furniture for free
distribution to the needy, Pnd , further, that N. E. Fitzgerald, Nayor of the City of
'-Wichita Falls, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the Sponsor's Agent,
and that T. .Bryan Miller, City Nenager, be authorized to execute such project proposal
as the fiscal officer of said City.
Lotion seconded by Aldermen Bebb end carried.
Loved by Alderman 1,7illiems that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls do hereby allocate end set aside to that certain project described in Works
Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 7-833, and entitled
to provide employment for needy persons in the collecting, renovating, and repairing
of contributed clothing, shoes, toys, and furniture for free distribution to the needy,
all those certain funds, materials and equipment as set in such project proposal, as
the Sponsor's contribution, end being in the total amount of w3,P90.00, and that such
fund allocated from and constitute a charge against the General Fund of said City.

Yoved by Alderman Babb that the Board order as of November 30, 1937, transfer
of cash from the Vater Fund in the sum of $72,710.96 to general government operating
fund and bond interest fund as follows:
General Fund - 060,000.00
Street Fund - 8,000.00
I ibrer7r Fund - 1,200.00
Bond Interest Fund - 39510.96
