The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls imt in regular session
at 8:00 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:
Edwin A. Babb, Q
J. 'AT. Fitzpatrick, Q
Pat Hardage, Q Aldermen
J. Y. Williams, Q
J. Bryan Miller, City Imager
J. H. Crouch, City Clerk
T. A. Hicks, City Attorney
In the absence of Mayor W. E. Fitzgerald the Council was called to order
by Alderman Bebb, whereupon Alderman Babb moved that Alderman Williams be elected
Mayor Protem for this meeting.
motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried.
The Yinutes of the regular meeting of November 8th were read.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Minutes of the regular meeting of November
8th be approved as corrected.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board approve stile of Lots 5 and 6 and 23
and 24, Block E, Riverside Cemetery, and the space platted for alleys or walks in-
cluded within the boundaries of said lots, to Mrs. T9elter Caldwell; said alleys at
the same rate per square foot as the lots.
Notion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hardage that the Board authorize purchase and installa-
tion of approximately 50 metal street stop signs and authorize and order payment of
same out of the Parking Meter Fund.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that dance hall license be granted to J. W. Jonas,
113 North Burnett Street, subject to revocation of the Council without notice or
hearing.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bebb and Hardage.
Nays: Alderman Fitzpatrick.

Moved by Alderman Hardage that the Board authorize adjustments of personal
and property taxes and settlement of same as outlined in the following schedule:

ORDINANCE NO. 1264
AN ORDINANCE REGUTATING I^'D LICENSING CERTAIN PERSONS, FIRMS, AM CORPOR-
ATIONS ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS OF DEALING IN THE NET MOTOR VEHICLES AND/OR USED
CARS, AS DEFINED HEREIN, WITHIN THE CORPORATION LIMITS OF THE CITY OF t:-VICHITA
FALLS, PROVIDING THE TIME, MPIMER, AND METHOD THEREOF, PROVIDING FOR TFM INSPECTION
AND SUPERVISION OF SUCH PERSONS IND THEIR BUSINESSES, PROVIDING CERTAIN REGUTA TIONS,
PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE, DISPLAY AND REVOCATION OF LICENSES, PROVIDING FOR THE
CLOSING OF PLACE OR PLACES OF BUSINESS ON SUNDAY, LICENSING SAIESMEN, PRESCRIBING
OFFENSES AND PENALTIES, AND PROVIDING GENERALLY FOR THE ENFORCEMENT HEREOF, AND
DECLARING AN *3RGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that Ordinance No. 1264 be passed on its first
reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bebb, Hardage and Fitzpatrick.
Neys: None.
Moved by Alderman Babb that the Board grant to W. J. Nolen, 1013-15 Scott
Street, special permit covering the installation of gasoline pumps; said pumps to be
installed between the curb line and property line and installed accirding to the
usual specifications and subject to- the approval of the State Highway Department with
the understanding that said pumps will be removed at the request of the Board of
Aldermen.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board instruct the City Attorney to prepare
an ordinance making a charge or fee on all gasoline filling station pumps or equipment
installed on city owned property.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Moved by Alderman Hardege that the Board authorize the City Manager to edver-
ties for bids on new automotive equipment for the Police Department.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Moved .by Alderman Bebb that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
