RESOLUTION IIMVERV, S, under laws recently enected prohibiting banking institutions, act- ing as municipal depositories, to pay interest on monies deposited in current operating and trust funds , and since the City National Bank in T�Tichits Fells , duly appointed City Depository, has agreed to pay to the City of Wichita Falls interest on city monies placed on time deposits, THERTUORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BURR OF ILDERNEN OF THE CITY OF ?'WICHITA FALLS, THAT the City Treasurer and City Clerk be Pnd are hereby ordered and in- structed to eke transfer from all cash funds, including interest and sinking and other trust funds, to time deposit accounts in designated depository of the City and to transfer from time deposit accounts to such funds from which said transfers were originally made in like total amounts, said transfers to be in such amounts and at such time and fbr such periods which in the discretion of the City Treasurer and City Clerk will be in the best interests of the City of 'Xichits Falls; and further order and instruct that such monies which may be transferred to time deposit accounts shall in all cases be subjec to recall and transfer back to the original current fund accounts on not more than thirty (30) days written notice by the City Treasurer and City Clerk, it being understood that any and all securities now deposited in trust to insure and secure city funds are pledged to secure any end P11 time deposits of all funds deposited by the City the same as if f.11 funds had remained in the original accounts.
