The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichite Fells met in regular session
at 8:00 P. M,. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The Minutes of the regular meeting of August 30th were read.
Moved by Aldermen Bebb that the Minutes of the regular meeting of August
30th be approved as reed.
Motion seconded by Aldermen Hardage end carried.
Moved by Aldermen Naylor that the Boerd appoint Jim Hubbs, P Journeyman
Plumber, a member of the Plumbing Board of Examiners to fill the present vacancy
on said Board.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hardage end carried.
Moved by Aldermen Naylor that the Board grant Crowley United Shows,
sponsored by the American Legion, license and fee without charge to show in the
City curing the week of October llth.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
Moved by Alderman Bebb that the claim presented by vJPlter Caldwell,
Attorney, in certain causes wherein judgment has been issued against Hemp's Taxicab
Company, be referred to the City Attorney for investigation and report to the
Council.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams erd carried.

IN THE CITY OF TICHITA FALLS TO BE LTSED FOR THE STORAGE OF AND/OR THE TRANSPORTATION
OF LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM, GAZE'S OVER THE HIGTTJAYS OF TITE STATE OF TEXAS; PROVIDIM THPT

three separate days be suspended and an emergency declared and Ordinance No. 1261 be
passed on its second reading.

on Heys at Seymour Road, on Holliday at 15th, at an estimated cost of $1,800.00 and
authorize the purchase of two edditionel traffic signals, appropriations to be ri-de
from Parking Yleter Fund.

Droved by Alderman Wolf that the Board accept the report of the City Attorney
and authorize and approve pevment of $100.00 to Stella Young Smith fear Right-of-Nay
over Lot 9, Block 10, South Park Addition, on condition that all taxes due on this
property to the City of Wichita Falls are paid.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
Lowed by Alderman Taylor that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Tichite
Falls authorize the execution for and on behalf of the City of 'lichite Falls of that
certain 'forks Progress Administration :Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal JAPN 165-66-6031
end being a project to provide employment for needy professional, educational and
clerical persons for the supervision and coordination of recreational activities, in-
cluding recreational and leisure time :leaders for penes, sports, social activities -nd
the treining of recreational leadership, and further, that 71. -T. Fitzgerald , Ipyor of
the City of y9ichits Fells, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the
Sponsor's agent, ^nd that J. Bryan Miller, City Ypneger, be authorized to execute such
project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City.
Motion seconded by Alderman HerdeFe and carried.,
Moved by .Alderman Neylor that the Board of aldermen of the City of wichits
Falls do hereby allocate end set aside to that certain project described in Torks
Progress administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal #APN 165-�6-6031 and entitled
„Project to provide employment for needy professional, educetionel end clerical persons
for the supervision and coordination of recreational activities, including recreational
and leisure time leaders for games, sports, social activities and the training of
recreational leadership" ell those certain funds, ne terial and equipment es set out in
such project proposal, as the Sponsor 's contribution, and being in the toted amount of
$3,137.00, and that such funds be allocated from and constitute a charge against the
Park Fund of said City.
Motion seconded by Pldenman Hardage and carried.
Roved by Alderman '.volf that the meeting be adjourned.

The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
