�u 3 8 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial auditorium Building June 28, 1937 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session at 8:00 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with the following members present: W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor J. W, Fitzpatrick, Q Pat Hardage, Q H. J. Naylor, ] Aldermen J. M. Williams, Q J. Bryan Miller, City Manager J. H, Crouch, City Clerk T. A. Hicks, City Attorney The Minutes of the regular meeting of June 21st were read. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Minutes of the meeting of June 21st be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Hardege and carried. Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board authorize and order the purchase of 50 Singer sewing machines now in use in the W.P.A. Sewing Room. Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen disallow claim of R. L. Church for damages in the sum of $15,000.00. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. ORDINANCE N0. 1257 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY RUNNING FROM MISSISSIPPI STREET TO SCOTT STREET AND BETWEEN LOTS TWELVE (12) AND THIRTEEN (13) IN BLOCK THIRTY-ONE (31) OF THE EARWISE AND JALONIC ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS. Moved by Alderman Williams that Ordiance No. 1257 be passed on its first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Williams, Fitzpatrick, Herdege and Naylor Nays: None.
