RESOITUION We the City Council of the City of Wichita Fells, at a regular meeting duly called end authorized on the 18th day of June, t. D. 1937, have passed the following resolution in connection with the proposed :'forks Progress Administration Airport Pro- ject located at Kell Field, Wichita Fells, Texas, and sponsored by the City of 7!ichite! Falls, Texas. RESOLVED that for and in consideration of the Federal funds made available through the ,`forks Progress Administration under official Project No. 3765 for the im- provement of the municipal airport end landing facilities THAT it is the intent of this City Council to extinguish indebtedness owing by the City on said municipal airport before February 10, 1939, and it is further re- solved that the City Ypnager is hereby authorized to set up in the Budget for the years 1938 end 1939 sufficient amount out of the General Fund to fully liouidete said indebtedness, end BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby pledge that it will operate end maintain said airport for the public benefit and in no wise by lease, contract, or otherwise permit said airport to be used and/or operated for private pruposes.
