The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
at 8:30 P. Me on the above date in the Gouncil Room in the Lemorial Auditorium with
the following-members present:

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Linutes of the meeting of February 15
be approved as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1248
AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LICENSING AND REGULATING OF AUTOMOBILES FOR HIRE,
PROVIDING FOR A PERMIT OR CERTIFICATE CF p(jBLIC NECESSITY AND COtTsENIENCE, PRE-
SCRIBING RATES TO BE CHARGED, REQUIRING CHAUFFEUR'S LICENSES FCR DRIVERS OF SUCH
AUTONIOBILES, REQUIRING THE FURNISHING OF INSURANCE OR BONDS BY Tf1E OPERATORS OF
SUCH CARS, REQUIRING THE FILING OF AN AFFIDAVIT SHOWING THE NAMES AND ADDRESSES OF
ALL 01',NERS ANM PERSONS INTERESTED IN SUCH BUSINESS, REQUIRING SUCH OPERATORS TO
HAVE RESIDED IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FAILS FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS BEFORE ENGAGING
IN SUCH BUSINESS, PROHIBITING THE- TRANSPORTING OF PERSONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF LEqD_
NESS, ETC., PROVIDING FOR THE REVOCATION CF LICENSE UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, PRO-
VIDING THAT IF ANY PART OF THIS ORDINANCE IS HELD TO BE NUIL AND VOID THEN SUCH
HOLDING SHALL NOT AFFECT THE 0 SECTIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING THAT IF
ANY SECTION OF THE ORDINANCE IS IN COh?LICT WITH THE STATE LAW, THEN THE SAID STATE
LAW SHAIL GOVER!q, PRESCRIBING TH& PENALTY AND DECLARING AN EMMENCy.

and final reading and be adopted as read.

ORDINAME TO REGULATE THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND REMOVAL
OF ALL BUILDINGS WITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLA17ONS SO AS TO REQUIRE PERMITS TO BE PROCURED FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION OR RE-
