Y. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with the following members present: W. E. Fitzgerald, 1ayor Claude Niller, I H. J. Naylor, J. B. This matter was deferred without formal action until the meeting of Aovemb er 23. N. Marantz, represented by his attorney, filed a request and petition for the issuance of a building permit at 2114 Tenth LDtreet for brick store building to be erected in front of the dwelling house on said property and to extend out to the prop- erty line on Tyler Street and 15 feet north of property line on Tenth Street. Moved by Alderman biller that the Board of Aldermen authorize the issuance of ! permit to D;. iarantz on the aforementioned petition. Motion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried. Moved by Alderman l�,aylor that the Board of Aldermen approve payment of �1,500 to the 'Aichita General hospital for uctober accounts on the payment of a like amount from Wichita County. i Potion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried. &_owed by Alderman Nolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order payment of $120.00 to be the City's prorata part agreed upon as the additional cost of land valuation board under the Ehrenborg contract. E. Fitzgerald, layorof the City of Wichita Falls, be authorzed to execute such project proposal as the Sponsor's Agent, and that J. Bryan Miller, City hanager, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City. Motion seconded by Alderman b°filler and carried, loved by Alderman Naylorthat the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls do hereby allocate and .-:et aside to that certain project described in Forks Pro- gress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 1-36, and entitled project: to increase the capacity of the trunk mains of the water distribution system in the residential district, all those certain funds, materials and equipment as set in such project proposal, as the Sponsor's contribution, and being in the total amount of $55,371.00, and that such funds allocated from and constitute a charge against the ?'Dater Fund of said City. l°otion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen of the City of 'Wichita Falls authorize the execution for and on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls for that certain Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 2-36, and being a project to increase the water supply mains to the business district and indus- trial sections and, further, that W. E. Fitzgerald, lIayor of the City of Wichita Falls, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the Sponsor's Agent, and that J. BRYAN Miller, City Ranager, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City. Yotion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls authorize the execution for and on behalf of the City of 'Wichita Falls for that certain Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 3-36, � and being a project to clean certain water mains in the distribution system, and, fur- ther, that W. E. Fitzgerald, Layor of the City of 'W ichita Falls, be authorized to exe- cute such project proposal as the Sponsor's Agent, and that J. Bryan lille r, City Yanaper, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City. Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls do hereby allocate and set aside to that certain project described in Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 3-36, and entitled project to clean certain water mains in the distribution system, all those certain funds, materials and equipment as set in such project proposal, as the Sponsor's contribution, and being in the total amount of $7,118.00, and that such funds allocated from and constitute a charge against the Water Fund of said City. Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried. Ivoved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls authorize the execution for and on behalf of the City of 'lchita Falls for that certain :Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 4-36, and being a project to repair the sidewalks in the residential areas, and further, that :'J. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor of the City of Wichita Falls, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the Sponsor's Agent , and that ! J. Bryan Miller, City Manager, be authorized to execute such project proposal as the fiscal officer of said City. Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried. Yoved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls do hereby allocate and set aside to that certain project described t in Works Progress Administration Project Proposal, Sponsor's Proposal No. 4-36, i and entitled project to repair the sidewalks in the residential areas, all those certain funds, materials and equipment as set in such project proposal, as the Sponsor's contribution, and being in the total amount of $2,762.00, and that such funds allocated from and constitute a charge against the Street Fund of said City. kotion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.
