The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 P. Ir. on the above date in the Council Room in the Y,,emorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The I-Anutes of the regular meeting of October 12 and called meeting of
October 15 were read.

and 15 be approved as read.

removing street car rails.

$20.30 under Homestead Exemption Ordinance to 1.7 s. �V. P. Bolding upon agreement

with Mrs. Bolding that said refund shall be applied on delinquent taxes, if any.

The City Manager's written report on the proposed TI.P.A. project for damming
the 71ichita River was read in full.
The report was discussed at length by committee from the optimist Club and
other citizens and by the Council.
Moved by Alderman 1,17olf that the Council defer action on proposed TV.P.A. pro-
ject to dam the 'Wichita River until such time as is necessary to make a more complete
investigationland further that the Council appoint as a committee for such investigation
the City Yanager and two members of the Council to be appointed by the Mayor and such
engineering assistant,& as is necessary to report on the feasibility of the proposed
project.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Yiller and carried.
A petition of protest was filed with the Council by citizens opposing the
installation of parking meters in the City.
Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Council authorize and order the adjustment of
property and personal taxes and settlement of same as set out in the following schedule:

and between the State Highway Commission and the City of T'Jichita Falls dated October
191 1936, whereby the 3tate Highway Coi�mission agrees to install certain lighting
fixtures on the Scott Street Overpass in the City of -lichita Falls and whereby the
City agrees to furnish electric energy and maintenance for the said lighting fix-
tures to be installed, and further authorizes '1. E. Fitzgerald as Yayor to execute
said agreement on behalf of the City.

A petition of protest was filed by citizens living in the vicinity of the Lori
L.emoris.1 Baptist Church relative the establishment of certain beer establishments in
the vicinity of said church and particularly at 117 Henrietta Street.
Moved by Alderman Yiller that the meeting be adjourned.
