The Board of Aldermen of the City of �Vichita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 p. jr. on the above date in the Council Room in the Yeinorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

Represented by A. F. Britain, Attorney, the Wichita Falls Tunior College
District and Hamilton-Yartin Investment Company, presented in due form petition,
filed October 2, 1936, to the Board of Aldermen requesting the City to annex 44.2
acres described in Deed from the Hamilton-Martin Investment Co. to said District
dated on or about September 17, 1935, and of record in Book 337, Page 462, of the
Deed Records of 1,1'richita County, Texas, and further requesting that they set this
matter for public hearing.

Moved by Alderman Bryan that the Board of Aldemen hold public hearing on
October 12, 1936, on petition from the 'J?ichita Falls Junior College District and
Hamilton-Yartin Investment Co.

Moved by Alderman Bebb that chauffeur's license be granted to C. A. Cardwell.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.
The request of local old Age Pension organization for the City to operate a
relief food agency, of soup kitchen under the direction of the City was referred by the
Mayor to the City Manager for in7estigation and report.
Yoved by Alderman Bebb that the Council request the City Manager to assemble
all information and data in regard to parking meters and report at next regular meeting.

Moved by Alderman Bryan that the Council instruct the City Manager to adver-
tise for bids on new pump and bring reemruiendations to the Council.

Yoved by Alderman IvVolf that the Board of Aldermen request the city Attorney
to notify in writing each person owing personal property taxes to the City of Arichita
Falls that legal collection procedure will be instituted by the City not earlier than
15 days after said written notice has been given by the City Attorney.

gement of a part of the building known as the City Hall Annex and n(Av used for tran-
sients, to the Salvation Army, and further authorize purchase and installation of
needed plumbing in said City Hall Annex and authorize the payment of all utility bills
by the City.
