The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The Minutes of the meeting of September 14 were read and approved.

Moved by Alderman Miller that the City Attorney be requested to file with
s the Board of Aldermen written opinion on the question of the enforcement of acts or
ordinances by the Board of Aldermen regulating the closing of beer establishments
within the city

Moved by Alderman :golf that the Board of Aldermen grant permit and
license to United Shows of America to show within the City of Wichita Falls under
the auspices of Maskat Temple and under the terms and provisions of Ordinance No.
376.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bryan and carried.
Moved by Alderman Miller that the Council grant use of the Auditorium
for rehearsals and performance for civic events in the celebration of the birthday
of the City of Wichita Falls on September 22, 24 and 27 without charge.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bryan and carried.

the adjustment of property and personal taxes and settlement of same as set out
