The Board of Aldermen of the City of �Iichita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

H. T. Naylor,
J. B. Stokes,
J. Bryan Miller, City Yanager
J. I-T. Crouch, City Clerk

The Minutes of the re1gular meeting of Zuly 27 were read and approved.
ORDINANCE NO. 1236
AN ORDINANCE LTEVYING, ASSESSING, AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION IN TBE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR A.D. 1936, AND LEVYING AN OCCUPATION TAX
ON ALL OCCUPATIONS TAxABIZ UNDER THE LA19S OF THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THE CHARTER AND
ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY?
Moved by Aldermen Bebb that Ordinance No. 1236 be passed on its first
reading,
Motion seconded by Alderman Bryan and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Be Bryan, Miller, Naylor, and Stokes.
Nays: None,
Moved by Alderman Bebb that Chauffeur's License be granted 0. L. McElyea.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bryan and carried.
Alderman Wolf came into the Council Room and took his seat at the Council
Tablee
Moved by Alderman Miller that the Council appoint the City Manager and
all Board members as a committee to represent the City at the meeting of the League
orTexas Municipalities to be held in Dallas on August 5.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried.

Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order the
adjustment of personal taxes and the settlement for same as set out in the following
schedule:
