Min 07/13/1936 4c 3- Wichita Falls, Texas Membrial Auditorium Building July 13, 1936 The Boa-d of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in 'regular session at 7:30 P. Yl. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium with the follovring members present: Roy A. Bryan Claude Miller H. J, Naylor Aldermen B. Stokes Frank Wolf J* Bryan Miller, City Manager J. H. Crouch, City Clerk T. A. Hicks, City Attorney W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen held Tuly 13, 1936 were read and approved. T Ihe application of Murphy Crane (colored) for issuance of dance hall Weense was renewed before the Council and after discussion it was moved by Alderman Wolf that the Council approve the application upon the condition that Murphy Crane employ and pay a police officer under the direction of the Chief of Police to be on duty at all times when operating this dance hall and on the condition that the liicense be revokable by the Chief of Police without reference of the Board of Aldermen upon -reasonable and just complaints. Votion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Wolf, Naylor and Stokes Nays: Bryan and Miller. The Council heard the corplaint relative traffic in the alley adjacent to 1510 llth Stre �t and refered the matter to the City Manager for attention. Yoved by Alderman Bryan that the request of the Wichita Falls General Hospital for funds be defered Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried. Moved by- Alderman Wolf that the City Manager be authorized to install a new 6" water line approximately 850 feet, at an estimated cost of $1,140.94 more or less in the Marlborough Addition. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen authorize an4order for the tax collector to adjust tax accounts as per the following schedule with the proviso that the tax -collector be not authorized to accept any settlement on real estate at a less amount than the values set on the same real estate for the year 1936: Uptft and authorize the tax collector to accept in full settiement of personal taxes frer tendered without penalty and interest for *he years 1931-_�2 of the Freear Furniture Company in the sum of 1500.00; and to accept in full settlement of personal taxes tendered without penalty and interest for the years lS32-33 in the sum of $179.25 of the Hornsby Heavy Hardware Company. 404 Original Reduced Year Value Value 1934 Por Boy Parts Co.
