The Board of Aldermen of the City of Tllichita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 P. Y. on the above date in the Council Room in the Uiemorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

On petition of citizens and property owners adjacent to the Labor Temple, it
was moved by Alderman Bryan that the Board of Aldermen cancel permission previously
granted to the Leopards Club (Colored) to hold dances at the Labor Temple.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.
Moved by Alderman golf that the Board of Aldermen hereby appoint J. L. Jackson,
Jr., Roscoe Staton, and J. M. Baber members of the Board of Equalization for the City
of "Wichita, Falls for the current year to work concurrently with the Board of Equaliza-
tion of the wichita Falls Independent School District No. 1 with the understanding that
expenses of the Board of ,Equalization will be prorated between the School District and
the City.

yoved by Alderman Bryan that the Board of Aldermen hereby go on record ap-
proving the move to incorporate,., at--least one half of the Junior College property in
the city's corporate -limits in accordance with provisions established by Charter and
ordinance.

Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen allow and approve the transfer of
a certificate of public conveyance and necessity heretofore granted Edmund Nuss operat
ing "SAFEWAY TAXI" to IV. B. Abbott, Jr., and allow and approve transfer of cash bond
on deposit with the City from Edmund Nuss to 11. B. Abbott, Jr., on approval of the City
Attorney. I

Moved by Alderman Bebb that the Board of Aldermen grant permission to A. A.
Winters, representing the Myrtle Arest Orphanage of Jefferson, Texas, to solicit funds
in the city.

UNTIL THE FINAL ADOPTION OF A BUDGET AND PASSAGE OF A GENERAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 19369 AND ENDING MARCH 31, 1937.

reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bebb and carried by the following vote;
Yeas; Aldermen Bryan, Bebb, Miller, Wolf, Naylor, and Stokes.

Moved by Alderman Bebb that the rule requiring ordinances to be read on
three separate days be suspended and an emergency declared, and that Ordinance No.
1231 be passed on its second reading.

Yeas: Aldermen Bebb, Naylor, Miller, Wolf, Stokes, and Bryan.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Naylor that Ordinance No. 1231 be passed on its third
and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Naylor, biller, "Jolf, Stokes, Bryan, and Bebb.
