The Board of Aldera�en of the city of 'Wichita Falls met in regular session
on the above date in the Council Room in the J�emorial Auditorium Building with the
following members present:

The Minutes of the regular meeting of May 11 and called meeting of yay
15 were read and approved.
ludge Harvey Harris', representing Ow merchants and business houses of
the shopping district,, requested consideration of installation of Park-o-1,'.eters
in -lichita Falls.
Moved by Alderman Bryan that the Board of Aldermen defer action on the
installation of Park-o-leters until additional investigation and recommendations be
made to the Council.
Yotion seconded by Alderman Viller and carried.
Yoved by Alderman Naylor that the petition of the Ohio Street merchants
requesting enforcement of the two hour parking limit on Ohio Avenue be referred to
the City Yanager with recommendation that the request be complied with if found
feasible.
Irotion seconded by Alderman T3ebb and carried.
Y�oved by Alderman Bryan that the City Manager be authorized to employ a
spec ial collector,,t o b e attached to the City Tax of f ice, f or en indeterminate period.

Moved by Alderman 'golf that the Board of Alderman allow the local Townsend
Club use of the Auditorium grounds only as per the terms of the ordinance governing.
Yotion seconded by Aldeman Bebb.
Yoved by Alderman Yiller that the Board of Aldermen defer consideration of
the request of the local Townsend Club for use of the Auditorium grounds.
Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Lriller, Naylor, Bebb, and Bryan.
Nays: Alderman "golf.

cussed the matter of distribution cf interest and sinking functunder the terms of a
decree and judgment held by said committee.
on the suggestion of the Board of Aldermen, attorney for the bond holders
agreed to hold the matter in abeyance, subject to the approval of the bond holders
committee, until such time as the annual budget appropriation is passed and approved
by the Board of Aldermen.
Yoved by Alderman Naylor that thtmtpfhof the Leopards Club (colored) for
a permit to hold dances at the Labor Temple w the understanding that these dances
will be strictly supervised by commissioned police officers in the employ of the Labor
Temple.
Motion seconded by Alderman Bryan and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1230
AN ORDINANCE 11-AKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT
UNTIL THE FINAL ADOPTION OF A 13UDGET AND PASSAGE OF A GENERAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1936, AND ENDING MARCH 31, 1937.
moved by Alderman Bryan that Ordinance No. 1230 be passed on its third and
final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Bryan, Viller, Bebb, Naylor, and wolf.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Miller that the meeting be adjourned.
Votion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
