The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular session
on the above date at 7:30 P. Y. in the Council Poom in the Yemorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The Yinutes of the meeting of Larch 9 were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman Miller that C. G. Barrett be granted a chauffeurt
license.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stmnpfli and carried.
Moved by Alderman walker that the following Resolution be adopted.

RESOLUTION
INHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen has, in the annual appropriation ordinance
and additional appropriation ordinances for the current fiscal year,
made certain
appropriations which are unnecessary in the departments and accounts as coded by the
Administrative Code; and',
11HEREAS, certain other departments and accounts have not received the
appropriations necessary for their operation and maintenance;
NOW, TF]EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEMTN CF THE CITY OF
'WICHITA FAILS:
THAT the City Manager, the City Treasurer, and the City Clerk be and
are hereby authorized to transfer the following appropriation, to-wit:

it was moved by Alderman Taylor that the following resolution be adopted.

HAT the City Manager, 1 ck Thomas, __at in touch with
bond holders of City of Wichits. Falls bonds and endeavor to refinance and refund
said City of �.Jichita Falls bonded indebtedness by paying the past due interest on
said bonded indebtedness at the rate of 3% per annum and have the rate of interest
reduced on all of the City's bonded indebtedness to 3% per annum, with a five year
extension on all principal and said bonds not to run for a longer period than
forty years,
City 11 Moved by Alderman Miller that the Board of Alderman hereby authorize the
'anager and Water Department to furnish all water needed and used for park
maintenance by the State Highway Department for parke established and to be es-
tablished by the State Highway Department at and adjacent to their building
located on South Scott Street at the junction of State Highways No. 5 and 66.
Motion seconded by Alderman Walker and carried,
Attorney T. A. Hicks appeared before the Council requesting settlement
in the sum of $4,400.00 of the Phillips' claim and requested the Board of Aldermen
to make necessary appropriation for the payment of said judgment,
Moved by Alderman Walker that the Board Of Aldermen authorize installation
of filling station sign by P. V. Center for Sinclair Refining Company at 327 North
Scott Street on approval of the City Engineer and State Highway Department with the
understanding that said sign is subject to immediate removal at the discretion of
the City Engineer or Board of Aldermen.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that the City Manager be requested to submit a
proposed contract with Lou Hatter Company for the consideration of the Board of
Aldermen relative an audit to cover any extra charges which may have been made for
electric energy and service by the Texas Electric Service Company,
Motion seconded by Alderman Liller and carried.

Moved by Alderman Walker that the Board of Aldermen authorize erection of
sign at 812 Brook between street curb line and the property line with the understanding
that said sign will be removed at the discretion of the City Engineer or Board of
Aldermen.

April 4 - J. B. Golden - County School Teachers Meet "Annual
Affair" - No charge
May 8 - Junior Chamber of Commerce Show "Advent of Summer"
