The Board of Aldermen of the City of olichita Falls met in regular session
on the above date at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Room in the P,Lemorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

ORDINANCE NO. 1211
AN ORDINANCE MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE UNAPPROPRIATED
BALANCE AT THE BEGINNING OF TBE FISCAL YEAR FRO THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNDMC
! FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1935, AND ENDING 10ARCH 31, 1936, AND DECLARING
AN E1a:ERGENCY.
Loved by Alderman Rodgers that Ordinance No. 1211 be passed on its first
reading.
Motion seconded by Aldermen Stokes and carried by the following vote:
i Yeas: Aldermen Rodgers, Stokes, Taylor, luiller, Walker and Stampfli.
( Nays: None.

Moved by Alderman miller that the rule requiring ordinances to be read on
three separate days be suspended and an emergency declared and Ordinance No. 1211
be passed on its second reading.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Walker and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen killer, Walker, Stampfli, Tayler, Stokes, and Rodgers.
Nays: None.

and final reading and be adopted as read.

Moved by Alderman Miller that the sum of $2,500.00 be paid to the ?jichita
General Hospital.
Motion seconded by Alderman Rodgers and carried. I

loved by Alderman Taylor that the City Engineer be authorized to install all
necessary lights in parkways inside street curbing on Lamar and 12th Streets adjacent
to City Market grounds.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried.
Moved by Alderman Rodgers that the Board of Aldermen rescind the former
action remitting all penalty and interest on delinquent taxes.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stokes and failed to carry by the following vote: ,
Yeas: Aldermen Rodgers and Stokes.
Nays: Aldermen Walker, 6tampfli, Taylor, and Miller and Layor Young.
Loved by Alderman Walker that the Board of Aldermen remit all penalties and
interest on all delinquent taxes from September 1, 1935, to December 1, 1935, and
order refunds of any and all penalties and interest paid on all tar accounts from
September 1, 1935, to December 1, 1935.
Motion seconded by Alderman killer and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Walker, Miller, Stampfli, Taylor, and Stokes.
Nays: Alderman Rodgers.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that the City Engineer be instructed and authorized
to issue permits to Continental Oil Company for the installation of two gasoline pumps
inside of street crub line at 1201 Scott Street with the Onderstanding and provision
that the Continental Oil Company will remove said pumps at the discretion of the Board
of Aldermen of the City Engineer.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1212
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 10999 PASSED AND APPROVED
ON THE 6TH DAY OF SEPTE ]MR, A.D. 1932, ENTITLED -AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF
ARTICLE 3, SECTION 1 OF ARTICLE 8, AND SECTION 1 OF ARTICLE 9-, AND BY ADDING SECTION
5 TO ARTICLE 6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 998, ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND RELATING
TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS AND TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS IN THE VARIOUS DEPARWENTS
OF THE M[J�TICIPAL GOVERNMENT TO BE %NOI& AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE , AND DECLARING AN
ELRGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that Ordinance No. 1212 be passed on its first
reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Taylor, Stampfli, Stokes, Rodgers, "talker, and Miller.
Nays: None.

Moved by Alderman Taylor that Ordinance No. 1212 be passed on its third
and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman hiller and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Taylor, killer, Stampfli, Stokes, Rodgers and talker.
Nays: None.
A committee of local merchants appeared before the Council with
recommendation that any action contemplating installation of "Park-0-I_eters" in
,Iichita Falls be delayed for further investigation.
B'oved by Alderman 'sIlalker that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
READ AND APPROVED this 21st day of October 1935.
