The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls Met in regular session
at 7:30 P.M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Yemorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The Linutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Yoved by Alderman 7dalker that the fbllowing resolution be adopted,

RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEM,,-EN OF TIM CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, that labor, equipment and material in the sun of Four Hundred Thirty Five
Dollars ($435.00) be furnished to the Works Progress Administration, District 12,
State of Texas, for the use on a project entitled "Project to furnish an assistant
to the City Librarian.
Loved by Alderman Walker that the Board of Aldermen authorize payment of
$4.62 to I. H. Dicken for refund of city taxes on account of Homestead Exemption
on Lot 26, Block 9, Sibley Taylor Addition.
h-otion seconded by Alderman hAller and carried.
1'oved by Alderman Stampfli that the City Manager be authorized to purchase
from 'S. E. Bernhardt additional right-of-way adjacent to the North Scott Street
overpass.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried by the fbllowing vote:
Yeas: Aldemen ".1alker, Stampfli, Stokes, and Yillero
Nays: Alderman Rodgers,
L. H. Gould presented to the Council a claim for $325.00, balance due him
for services rendered as member of the Board of Equalization.
This matter was deferred until the return of City hCanager Mack Thomas.
K,r. Charles L-artin, District Director of the Works Progress Administration,
requested the Council to expedite the filing of applications for as many projects as
possible without delay,
Moved by Alderman Iiller that the City Engineer be instructed to cooperate
with ',Vork Progress Administration Director and make recomnsndations as soon as possible
to the City Council relative to the filing of W.P.A. applications for improvement of thE
Wichita River channel and improvement on Lake Wichita and tributaries.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried,
loved by Alderman killer that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
