The Board of Aldermen of the City of 'lichita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 P.I,,,. on the above date in the Council Room in the Lerriorial Auditorium with
the following members present:

The 1,inutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
L:oved by idderman Taylor that E. F. Riley be granted permit to install a
550 gallon underground storage tank located between Ohio and Indiana Avenues; this
installation subject to removal at the discretion of the City 7ngineer or the Board
of Aldermen.
1-otion seconded by Alderman Liller and carried.
1,r. Gordon, representative from the local "�.P.A. Offices, appeared before
the Council recuesting that the City sponsor the se,,,iing room for relief labor for
'.14ichita Falls, and a CorarAttee composed of Aldermen L-ack Taylor and V. F. Stampfli
was appointed to make reconmendations on this matter at the next regular council
meeting.
k.oved by Alderman Rodgers that the Board of Aldermen authorize payment of
$2,500.00 to the '.,Vichita General Hospital for June 1935.

Yoved by Alderman Rodgers that the Board of Aldermen authorize issuance of
permit to the Continental Oil (."oirpany to erect a sign between the curb and street
line at 12th an.d Holliday; subject to removal at the discretion of the City Engineer
or Board of Aldermen.

three separate days be suspended and an emergency declared, and Ordinance No. 1203 be
passed on its second reading.

Nays: None.
Yoved by Alderman Stampfli that Ordinance No. 1203 be passed on, its third and
final reading and be adopted as read.

Goldstucker, L;ecretary to the City 1,anager, as Acting City i,anager with authority to
sign city warrants, effective August 17 and until return of City i..anager 1-ack Thomas
from his vacation.

plant and improving the water system.
