The Board of Aldermen of the City of richita Falls met in regular session
at 7:30 P.M. on the above date in the Council Chamber in the li'.emorial Auditorium
with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and a y g pproved.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the following resolution be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stokes and carried by the following vote:

RESOLUTION
1 WHEREAS on September 2, 1925, by an instrument recorded in Volume 240
Page 552 of the Deed Records of Wichita County, Texas, the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, R. E. Shepherd, and duly attested by its
f City Cler, W. E. McBroom, executed a certain quit claim deed to D. J. Carithers,
and the following described property situated in Wichita Falls, Wichita County,
$ Texas, to-wit:
Being all of Lots 7, 8 end 9, Block B, of the Warford
Subdivision of Lot 1, Block 3, of the Bellevue Addition
to the City of Wichita Falls.
aHEREAS said instrument was executed in connection with the redemption
of said property under and by virtue of a tax title for taxes for the year 1893 as
evidenced by tax record and recorded in Volume C, page 571, of the Deed Records of
Wichita County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS said taxes were paid and property redeemed but it appears from
the records of the City Clerk that no record of a resolution was ever recorded in
the Minutes of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas; and,

benefitted by the collection of certain delinquent taxes and it is the desire of the
present administration to ratify and in all things confirm the execution of the quit

claim deed above described and referred to.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Wichita Falls, acting by and through its Board
of Aldermen, does hereby ratify and confirm the act of R. E. Shepherd, Mayor of the
City of Wichita Falls, end W. E. McBroom, Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, in the
execution of the above described quit claim deed, and does by these presents ratify,
confirm and adopt such act as the act of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Moved by Alderman Walker that the Board of Aldermen authorize payment of $125. 0
to Judge J. T. Montgomery to complete payment in full of fee due in Taxman Refining Co.
case.
Motion seconded by Alderman Taylor and carried.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that the following resolution be adopted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF TBE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
THAT labor, equipment and materials in the sum of $4,202.00 be furs ishe d to th W
Wichita County Relief Board for the use on a project entitled Baylor Street eater Line.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that the following resolution,be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman biller and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Taylor, Miller, Rodgers, Stampfli, Stokes, and Walker.

RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
THAT labor, equipment and materials in the sum of $652.80 be furnished to the
Wichita County Relief Board for the use on a project entitled Improvement of Canal and
Right of Way from Lake Wichita to treatment plant.
Moved by Alderman Walker that the Board of Aldermen authorize payment of
$240.00 to Kembell-Bostic Supply Company for claim in full far damages to borrowed
equipment.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried.

ORDINANCE NO. 1202
AN ORDINANCE TO FIX THE MIND AND MAXIM= CHARGE FOR THE CONSUMPTION
OF WATER FOR CHURCHES, SUNDRY SCHOOLS AND HOUSES OF WORSHIP, AND THEIR IMMEDIATE
AND CONTIGUOUS GROUNDS TEFMT09 WITRIN THE CITY LIMtITS OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
AND TO DECLAR AN EMERGENCY.
Loved by Alderman Taylor that Ordinance No. 1202 be passed on its third
and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Miller and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Alderman Taylor, Miller, falksr, Stokes, Stampfli, and Rodgers.
Nays: Alderman Walker.
ORDINANCE NO. 1204
AN ORDINANCE MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE UNAPPROPRIATED
BALANCE AT TIE BEGINI,'ING OF THE FISCAL YEAR FRO THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL 1, 1935, AND ENDING MARCH 319 1936, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that Ordinance No. 1204 be passed on its first
reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Walker and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Taylor, Walker, Miller, Stokes, Rodgers, and Stemipfli.

Moved by Alderman Taylor that the rules requiring ordinances to be read on
three separate days be suspended and an emergency declared, and that Ordinance No.
1204 be passed on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Taylor, Stampfli, 11alker, Miller, Stokes, and Rodgers.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Walker that Ordinance No. 1204 be passed on its third and
final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Rodgers and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Walker, Rodgers, Stampfli, Miller, Stokes, and Taylor.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Taylor that the meeting be adjourned.
